Raulyu (Лаулю) in Primorsky Krai, Russia

A Korean village established in 1912 as part of the land development project of the Gwon-eophoe, an autonomous Korean organization in Russia. Koreans in Russia even formed a stock fundraising group called 'Gobondan' to develop this area. There is also a theory that it was intended to be used as a base for the independence movement at the time. According to records from 1915, approximately 110 households resided there, and they were granted about 5.38 million pyeong of land.
